At Grey London, we all make the creative work but there are 3 key types of roles you often hear about in creative agencies. These specialisms range from coming up with creative ideas, to bringing them to life, and everything in between.
The people who see the bigger picture. The lynchpin of the whole process and the only ones who get to see a creative campaign from start to finish. They build strong client relationships, work closely with the Planners and Creatives, all whilst looking after the important things like budgets and commercials.
The long and deep thinkers. They do the research to find out why people do what they do, and buy what they buy. This informs the brief they write, which is the foundation for any effective brand growing campaign.
The Copywriters, Art Directors, Designers, Coders, Musicians. The ones who can make the leap from a brief to an idea that impacts culture. They shape that idea. It could be anything from a TV ad, to a screenplay, a mobile app to a number one single or a press ad.
